Overview
What it is: Tech-You, a channel I built. What I did: posted other creators’ videos, optimised and distributed them, and brought bumper views to the channel. What it is not: a claim that I created those videos — the work was curation, packaging and distribution, and it is presented here exactly that way.
Channel: Tech-You on YouTube
The challenge
- A new channel with no audience — good videos alone do not get discovered.
- Tech content is crowded; standing out needs packaging and timing, not just uploads.
What I did
- Curation: picked videos with proven appeal — topics people already search for and share.
- Packaging: titles, descriptions and presentation rewritten for clicks and search, not copied blindly.
- Cadence: consistent posting so the channel looked alive and the algorithm had something to work with.
- Distribution: pushed videos where tech audiences already are, instead of waiting for discovery.
Result & key takeaway
The channel brought bumper views — distribution did the heavy lifting. The lesson I carry into client work: great content without distribution is invisible, and distribution without good content does not retain anyone. Growth needs both, in that order.
